Meeting My Spirit Guides Meditation

On the 23rd of August 2009 I calmed my mind and got completely relaxed and ready to meditate. Not long into the meditation I began to drift off into a vision that was so clear and vivid that it felt completely real - as though I was really there in my vision. I could taste, smell, feel, hear and see everything in the vision as though I were wide awake and it was really happening. My intention for the meditation was to meet my guides and I stated this before starting the meditation. Here is the vision I had....

I saw my self walking up a long dusty road - just like the ones I grew up on when I lived on a farm. The road then led me to a beautiful field which was shut off by a silver gate. I recognised this field as one of the fields on our farm where I grew up.

It was my happy place and if ever I felt angry or depressed I would go there and spend hours walking in the field. It helped me to find inner piece and I could cry my heart out and no one would hear me except the animals in the field. I felt comforted in the meditation that I was now back at my field that I missed so very much.

I slowly approached the silver gate and opened it. I entered the gate and shut it behind me. As soon as I stepped into the field I felt a great sense of inner peace over come me. I shut my eyes and took in 3 deep breaths before opening my eyes again. I could clearly feel the cool summers breeze and it blew through my hair. I could clearly see a gorgeous blue sky with fluffy white clouds. It all seemed so very real and vivid.

I looked all around me and took everything in. I then noticed that there was no one else around except for some cows and horses grazing peacefully. I could clearly feel the long grass as it tickled my feel, I could clearly hear happy birds chirping away as they went about their daily business.

The air smelt so clean and so fresh that it made me feel whole inside. I removed my sandals letting my feet sink into the softness of the grass. I then noticed that I was warring a pretty pink (my favourite colour) summers dress. It was dainty and so very me.

I decided to say hello to the cows and horses - if there were animals around then I had to say hello. I have a deep love for all animals and nature. I slowly made my way towards them taking in my surrounding the whole time. The animals all seemed so pleased to see me which made me feel all warm inside. I went up to each cow and horse and stroked them, gave them little kisses on their noses, spoke softly and kindly to them and let them know that I was happy to see them too.

I then heard running water and decided to follow the sound of the water. I walked in the fields following the sound of the water. I noticed mixed colours of grassy fields and wild flowers were all around me and by my feet. The grass also had a purple tinted grass seeds which were blowing in the wind. I picked one and felt the seeds in my hands before letting the wind take the seeds and swirl them about in the summers breeze.

I stood still and took in another deep breath allowing myself to enjoy every minute of this magical experience. I concentrated on how I was feeling and how I felt so alive and free. I felt one with nature and one with myself. I began to laugh and could not stop laughing. I just kept laughing and to my surprise found myself running and skipping with my hands waving happily in the air. I felt like an over excited child on Christmas morning. I do not think that I have ever felt so at peace and so happy in all my life as I did at that very moment.

I suddenly stopped as I noticed something small running towards me. I then heard excited little barks and I knew instantly that it was Skippy my little Jackrussle dog who had passed away many years before. My heart leapt for joy and I hear myself cry out, "SKIPPY”. Just then Skippy leapt into my arms and I held him so very close to me. I loved him and kissed his tiny wet nose. I cried over and over again, "I love you so much Skippy, I have missed you so very much.”

Fighting back the tears I put Skippy down and he danced merrily around my feet. Together we ran and played in the lush fields, laughing happily and enjoying every minute of each others company. Skippy then ran ahead of me chasing butterflies. He then stopped and looked back at me and barked as though he wanted me to follow him – which I did. He lead me to a beautiful stream where we climbed some rocks and I dipped my feet into the cool water.

The water was so refreshing and cool, it was also so clear that I could see brightly coloured fish swimming among rocks and plants. I cupped handfuls of the refreshing water and splashed my face and hair. It felt so pure and so clean.

Skippy then jumped into the water and happily began to swim and chase the fish which made me laugh. I laughed so much that it hurt. I took off my dress and stepped into the river. I began to swim in my kickers and bra. No one was around so it was okay and I did not feel embarrass at all. I laughed as fish tickled me under my feet.

I then got out of the water and found a white towel lying neatly folded on a near boulder. I dried myself off then re-folded the towel and put it back where I had found it. Skippy got out of the stream too and shook him self off, I laughed as he splashed water all over me. I then I re-dressed and laid sprawled out on a soft blanket of grass and I smiled happily.

I began laughing again and moving my arms and likes like you do when you make snow angels – but I did this on the grass. Skippy lay by my side and I looked up at the bright blue sky and made funny pictures out of the clouds. I made hearts, and flowers, ships and stars. Little rabbits and squirrels also a tortoise sat by me and I stroked them.

Skippy then leapt up and barked for me to follow him once again, which I did. He lead me to some beautiful woodland. I followed him into the woods. It was so beautiful and I could clearly smell the sweet scent of the flowers and the earthy scent of the trees, leaves and pinecones.

I looked up and gasped in amazement as I noticed how magical the sun beams looked as they streamed through the trees like heavenly white light. I admired little toad stools, cheeky little squirrels dashing up the trees collecting acorns and rabbits hopping about happily. I also said hello to a curious fox who hid behind a tree.

I then notices that just in front of me were some deer that grazed quietly. I had to stop for a minute to watch these magnificent creatures. The deer’s looked up at me and seemed quite calm as thought they knew I would not hurt them. I then noticed a boulder and I walked over to it and sat down. I shut my eyes to take in all the beauty around me. Skippy lay happily by my feet. I suddenly heard footprints crunching on the leaves.

I opened my eyes and looked up. I could see a shadow coming towards me. I focused my vision to try and get a better look. It was a person – a male and he looked like he was Native American. He wore thick beige boots with fur at the top and feathers hanging from them. He wore dark trousers and had a white long sleeved top on. He also wore a red neck scarf. He wore a beige coloured waist coat that was open. There were feathers hanging like a necklace around his neck.

The man had feathers on his belt and on his head. He had long hair tied back in a pony tale, his face was old and wise yet strangely young at the same time. He approached me and asked if he could please sit down with me. I said yes and he sat down next to me. There was a stretched minute of silence before I asked him what his name was. He said Chakker / Chakiera?

I told him my name was Natasha and said that it was very nice to meet him. I asked how old he was and he said that he was 868 years old. I was shocked at how old he was. I then asked if he had anything to tell me and if he was my spirit guide, also how he helps me as my guide. He smiled at me and said the word, "guidance.” He held out his hand and so did I too, he then placed something into my hand.

I looked down and saw a little white butterfly which walked gently on my for several minutes before flying up into the air, as the butterfly flew upwards it turned into a beautiful white dove. I then noticed that there was someone standing over my left side. I turned and was surprised to see a large stag/ buck standing right by me. His face was so clear and so close to mine. He was absolutely beautiful – so beautiful that my eyes welled up with tears. I stroked his soft head gently. He had a very wise and sensible / serious feel about him. I looked deep in his eyes and I felt all warm and safe.

I then noticed that a large brown bear walked up to me. The bear was lovely and had a caring and motherly energy about her. I stroked her soft fur and she seemed to really like that. She rolled on the soft ground and began playing with leaves and bits of old bark. Even though I was surrounded by my pet dog Skippy, an Indian man, a large brown bear and a Stag I did not feel afraid. I felt great inner peace and felt I new this man and these animals very well.

Just then a young blond haired boy wearing a red pair of swim shorts and had blue eyes approached me. I recognised him straight away as a spirit boy who used to visit me as a child. I asked him what his name was and I was surprised to hear that his name was Daniel as I thought it would be Roland – an old friend of mine who passed away when I was 15. This boy was aged about 15-18. He told me that he had fallen and drowned. He said that he was 68/688 years old. I could not quite catch exactly the number he said or whether it was the year of his birth or the age he was when he passed over.

Then everyone got up and walked through the forest. I knew it was time for me to go back to my home. I thanked them all for visiting me and said I would come back again soon. I then went back exactly the way I had come till I reached the silver gate once more. I felt sad that it was time for me to leave this magical place but I knew I had to go. I went though the gate and then found that I had come out of the meditation and was wide awake.
